TYREEK HILL FAMILY FOUNDATION GALA
When Capture Sports & Entertainment began working with Super Bowl Champion Tyreek Hill and his Tyreek Hill Family Foundation in 2021, we proposed that an Inaugural Gala would be the perfect opportunity to relaunch the foundation while making a big fundraising impact.
The goal of the first-year event was to raise $145,000 to support the Tyreek Hill Family Foundation's focus on youth mental health and wellness and create an unforgettable night for guests, for Tyreek, and for his family and teammates.
THE STORY
Guests were WOW'd by the decor and atmosphere of the Loews Kansas City Hotel, the site of the Inaugural Tyreek Hill Family Foundation Gala. They learned about the difference the foundation and its partners are making in the community. And more importantly, they learned about the person behind uniform #10, seeing Tyreek's passion for giving back through wellness and education first-hand.
Tyreek, his family, and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates, including Travis Kelce, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Daurice Fountain, and Byron Pringle, mingled with guests in the VIP reception area. Guests enjoyed bidding on the one-of-a-kind live and silent auction items devoured the delicious catered dinner and sipped on complimentary signature beverages.
SUCCESSES
Sold out the event in its first year with 400 guests, including several of Tyreek's Kansas City teammates, corporate partners, and supportive community members
Raised over $177,000 for the Tyreek Hill Family Foundation's initiatives to support youth mental health resources in Kansas City
Secured pre- and post-event media coverage in USA Today, SB Nation, NFL, and Kansas City radio and TV stations
