SAM MAYER
Looking to increase his brand awareness and make a mark on the track as the future of motorsports racing, Sam Mayer teamed up with Capture Sports & Entertainment to better engage with current and potential fans. Capture revamped his website to increase actions and helped create a strategic social media channel and content strategy that increased Twitter followers by 218% and Facebook engagement by 223% in just a month.
THE STORY
Sam Mayer developed a love for speed at a young age and quickly proved to be a natural on the track. He officially started his racing career at the young age of four when he began racing the Kid Karts at Badger Raceway in his home state of Wisconsin.
Now, at age 16, Sam represents the future of auto racing, as he is quickly making a name for himself and dominating the track from behind the wheel.
Mayer joined GMS Racing for the 2019 season and won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship after earning four wins, 11 top-five and 11 top- 10 finishes in 12 starts during his first full season of competition in the series. Mayer also added his name to the record books by becoming the youngest champion in any NASCAR series.
Throughout the 2019 season, he also collected seven top-five finishes in eight starts in the ARCA Menards Series. Additionally, Mayer made his NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series debut at Bristol Motor Speedway where he ran in the top 10 much of the race.
Mayer joined JR Motorsports' championship-winning Late Model program for the 2018 season, taking the seat of the team's second entry. He was the highest finishing rookie in the 2018 CARS Response Energy Tour late model championship standings, finishing fifth. Mayer won the Young Lions division of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Summer Shootout for Legends cars in 2017 and scored back-to-back championships in 2016 in the United States Pro Kart Series.
