Jordan Hicks, a Texas football linebacker from 2011-14 — has made the seventh-most tackles in school history and played 10 years for four NFL teams — is adjusting to life without football.

After retiring in July, Hicks has turned his attention to True Strength Ability Awareness, the nonprofit organization he founded last year aimed to raise funds and empower school Special Education departments.
