Deep in the Heart of Texas Gala raises funds

With a night filled with inspiring speeches, heartfelt testimonies and generous giving, more than 260 community members gathered at The Atrium Saturday, March 8, for the Deep in the Heart of Texas fundraising gala for 5 Loaves and its future Beacon of Hope Center. 

Keynote speaker, Adrian Phillips spoke about his nonprofit, the Lake Foundation, which he founded in 2023 with his wife, Camille, to address food insecurity, pediatric development through athletics, kindness through acts of service and education.
