Russell Wilson Honored For His Work By Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation

During the NFL season, the typical off day for players is Tuesday. And every single Tuesday, quarterback Russell Wilson has visited Seattle Children’s Hospital.

From his rookie year, through his Pro Bowl years and the Super Bowl season, to now, as a husband and a father, Wilson has been frequenting the pediatric cancer unit, and then learning about immunotherapy, and then creating his own foundation to support the youngest cancer patients of the community.

It’s a big priority for him, so when the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation asked him to come to Milwaukee to accept the Award of Excellence for its 30th annual dinner, Wilson was honored to do it. READ MORE HERE.
