MILWAUKEE BUCKS FOUNDATION GOLF OUTING


When the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation launched in 2016, they were looking for a partner to help them execute a golf outing that would raise money for underserved communities in Wisconsin. 

Each year, Capture Sports & Entertainment works to concept the guest experience, educate attendees on the foundation’s mission, reduce costs, and create new sponsorship and fundraising opportunities.  

The goal of the event was to net over $100,000 and create a memorable event for volunteers, golfers, and Milwaukee Bucks Players. In the inaugural five years, the golf outing has raised over $1,000,000. 

THE STORY

Guests walk the red carpet in style as they arrive each year for 18 holes of golf at the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation Golf Outing.  

Milwaukee Bucks players, alumni, coaches and staff, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, Matthew Dellavedova, Khris Middleton, Michael Redd, Vin Baker, Fred Roberts, Coach Bud and others greet guests as they arrive and accompany the foursomes during the tournament. 

Guests enjoy a fun afternoon of golf, participate in shooting the ‘golf ball cannon,’ dine at food trucks along the course, drink signature beverages from the Bucks partners, and even take photos with the 2021 NBA Championship trophy! 

SUCCESSES 

  • Raised over $1,000,000 in the inaugural five years of the event 

  • Reduced expenses on average $5,000 each year of the event 

  • Increased silent auction revenue 40% after transitioning from paper/pencil auction to online auction 

We worked with the Bucks and the venue to produce a lively atmosphere within the reception room.

Capture created eye-catching Bucks branded graphics to support the auction through organic and paid social media.

Our 2021 NBA Champions brought the Larry O'Brien Trophy with to the MBF Golf Outing.
