Isaiah Lee Hazel Foundation

Isaiah Lee Hazel Foundation

The Isaiah Lee Hazel Foundation was founded in 2026 by Isaiah Hazel’s parents, Brenda and Aaron, in honor of their son’s life and legacy.  The foundation was established in memory of Hazel, who passed away in a car accident at 23 years old in 2024.

A dedicated athlete, Hazel played collegiate football at the University of Maryland before finishing his career as a defensive back at UNC Charlotte in 2023. He had aspirations of continuing his football journey in the United Football League following his collegiate career. Prior to college, he played football for Henry A. Wise High School.

Hazel’s life was defined by determination, unconditional support for others, and a joyful spirit. These values now serve as the foundation’s guiding principles, ensuring his legacy of positivity and inspiration continues to impact others for years to come.
