YARDS FOR SHOES

 
 

Just three months after helping Aaron and Alvin Jones launch the A&A All the Way Foundation, Capture Sports & Entertainment developed a creative way to tie Aaron’s accomplishments on the field to the great work his foundation was doing. Better yet, it was a way that corporations and fans could get behind too!  

The Aaron Jones Yards for Shoes Campaign was funded through a corporate sponsorship with Cousins Subs and online donations from the public. Money raised was used to purchase shoes for kids who need them in Green Bay.  

THE STORY 

The A&A All The Way Foundation believes that children have the potential to change the world if we provide them the opportunities and guidance they deserve.  

“We have done a shoe drive in my hometown of El Paso for years, and this campaign extended our efforts so that we can give hundreds of shoes to children in both El Paso and Green Bay.” – Aaron Jones  

For every rushing yard, Aaron Jones had during the Packers’ games, a pair of shoes were donated to a child in the Green Bay Area. 

SUCCESSES

  • Over 130 pairs of shoes were donated after the inaugural post season campaign 

  • The campaign was renewed in the fall for the full season with a goal to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes 

  • Capture secured statewide media coverage on the launch and the renewal of the campaign 

Capture worked to make sure corporate sponsor, Cousins Subs, was featured in a big way.

The Capture team designed attention-grabbing social graphics to kick-off the campaign.

We worked with schools in Green Bay to coordinate in-person shoe drives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
